Captains For Clean Water Internship Program
Captains For Clean Water (CFCW) is looking for three dedicated individuals to take part in the Fall of 2023 or Spring of 2024 Internship Program. Interns will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours (approximately 2 days) a week over a period of 14 weeks.
During this time, interns will gain valuable work experience and significant exposure to the non-profit and outdoor industry essential for successful careers to continue the work of protecting our aquatic resources. Captains For Clean Waters headquarters are in Fort Myers, Florida. This position is unpaid.
Application Dates
Fall 2023 application Dates:
- Application will be open from June 19th, 2023 to August 19th, 2023.
- Internship Program will run from September 11th, 2023 to December 8th, 2023.
Spring 2024 application Dates:
- Application will be open from October 16th, 2023 to December 16th, 2023.
- Internship Program will run from January 15th, 2024 to April 15th, 2024.
To note, you will not be able to submit an application once the cycle closes.
Qualifications and Information
Interns will contribute to the CFCW mission in many ways, which may include:
- Assisting with education and outreach efforts
- Maintaining CFCW’s volunteer program
- Hosting a fundraiser
- Attending CFCW events
- Completing administrative tasks
Qualifications: Eligible applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate institution within the state of Florida, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and may be interested in fields related to: environmental sciences, resource management, public policy, non-profit management, and community outreach.
