A retired wildlife biologist, Pete is a local legend in the beach fly fishing world. He’s created innovative flies that have caught him upwards of 30,000 fish, of which he has detailed logs and recordings. Every snook, every jack, every red, every ladyfish—any species caught—they’re all documented in his digital dataset.
But Pete’s meticulous record keeping and expertise in Excel isn’t just what makes him an incredible angler, it’s also what makes him a passionate advocate for clean water.
His deep connection to the resource and his ability to see the changes unfolding on our coastlines helped ignite the spark that became the Captains For Clean Water movement.
