Throughout the week, we’ll be making your voice heard on Capitol Hill—highlighting the importance of robust funding for Everglades restoration, continued progress on key projects like the Everglades Agricultural Area Reservoir, and stronger protections for our northern estuaries.
What we’re fighting for

- Securing strong federal funding for Everglades restoration projects.
- Supporting the Northern Estuaries Restoration Plan (NERP).
- Protecting and expediting completion of the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Reservoir.
- Urging timely updates to the Lake Okeechobee regulation schedule as new infrastructure (like the EAA Reservoir) comes online.
- Reform around Army Corps Engineers chemical herbicide spraying on Lake Okeechobee.
